Untreated Glioblastoma stage 4

My huband was diagnosed with a stage 4 glioblastoma on October 13th of 2016 (almost one year ago). He had testicular cancer when he was younger and decided that he was not comfortable going through surgery, radiation or chemo again and has therefore decided to leave the brain cancer *untreated*. He showed no signs of being sick up until about 3 months ago when he slowly began to decline. He now has seizures daily, he is much weaker than he use to be, has horrible agression, has halloucations almost nightly, and experience memory loss every now and then. He is still able to function and do daily tasks without any help but I feel like he is starting to get worse and he is giving up. When he was diagnosed he was told that he would live 12-18 months and we are now two days away from his 12 months. Im not sure how to handle all this, im just trying to be as loving and supportive as i can possibly be but its not always easy. When i look up things on the internet in hopes to find answers, everyone talks about TREATED brain cancer. My husband is going UNTREATED. Someone please tell me what to expect... How do I know when the end is approaching? :(

Truly no one knows when the end is near. I do not like when doctors give a prognosis of time. Mentally I believe people see that as a concrete timeline, the mind is powerful so it will set out the future.
Obviously the tumor is pressing on something right now causing his issues right now.
There may be some options that could help him with symptoms if not could shrink it.  Message me for a link to contact someone to this regard.

I am so sorry to hear of your husbands diagnosis. My Mom diagnosed Thanksgiving of 2015, fought for 6 mos. finally succumbing to this beyond horrific nightmare. SHe went through two brain surgeries to remove tumors, chemo, and radiation all of which i was convinced did nothing but take the life slowely from her. But hearing of your husband i see that both ways are equally horrific for both family and patient. I pray GLioblastoma research finds a cure for your husband in time. Something perhaps may be worth looking into is that Cannabis oil, offhand cannot recall the exact name but some claim remissive results with this trype of cancer. God be with you and your family, and my heart breaks for those who battle, those who lose, and those who stand beside them.

12 months without treatment is fantastic!!  My husband was diagnosed with GBM multiform 7/20/17 and Mayo Clinic told us without treatment he'd only survive 3-6  months.  So we did the brain surgery, 6 weeks of chemo/radiation, now in our month off awaiting an updated MRI.  We were told with treatment median survival is 14 months so I'm optimistic after reading your post that without treatment your husband is surviving.  Best wishes.
