Lopinavir/ritonavir as a topical cream for HPV

Read about the couple that used the lopinavir/ritonavir capsules to treat cervical cancer in women. Basically they just placed that actual capsule into the vagina. Evidently this had significant results at the time. I haven't been able to find a whole lot about it since they released their original study in 2014? I did see that they filed a patent for a cream semi recently. But no trials since. Not sure how many anarchist warriors (biohackers) are on here but lopinavir/ritonavir can be purchased from China in powder form. It dissolves only in alcohol. There is even an oral solution for kids (HIV positve) that is 40% alcohol based. I was thinking one could mix dissolved lopinavir/ritonavir powder into an alcohol based gel (also purchased as a vehicle for medicines safe for your lady parts) and mix solution in to make a topical cream for the vulva. Which is basically what the patent for the lopinavir/ritonavir gel that is under patent now online. Anyone have any ideas about this? "women diagnosed as high-risk HPV positive with high grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSIL) were examined by colposcopy and given a 2 week course of 1 capsule of Lopimune (CIPLA) twice daily, to be self-applied as a vaginal pessary." Kenya "A total of 23 women with HSIL were treated with Lopimune during which time no adverse reactions were reported. A maximum concentration of 10 ng/ml of lopinavir was detected in patient plasma 1 week after starting treatment. HPV was no longer detected in 12/23 (52.2%, 95%CI: 30.6-73.2%). Post-treatment cytology at 12 weeks on women with HSIL, showed 14/22 (63.6%, 95%CI: 40.6-82.8%) had no dysplasia and 4/22 (18.2%, 95%CI: 9.9-65.1%) were now low grade demonstrating a combined positive response in 81.8% of women of which 77.8% was confirmed by histology. These data are supported by colposcopic images, which show regression of cervical lesions." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4732739/

I just read that study with interest in it.

Curious if it will work for low-grade HPV that causes warts.

Partner got diagnosed with internal anal warts and I was wondering if this could help.

Anyone willing to try this out in anal canal or on genital warts, I can help get the stuff needed. Message me.

Sometimes science takes too long.

Have you had any success with your testing?  I've just ordered a bottle from India, and plan to crush and dissolve in alcohol.  I'd like to keep the community informed on what works and would love to include your results in my write up.

Hi I’m still interested in this... let me know how any Lopimune hackers are doing. This site has shut me down a few times. :)

Hey GlitterGalore!

When I first saw this thread I figured it was dead, but wanted to put something here just in case. I'm glad you showed up!!

Anyway, I've ordered a few bottles of lopimune from India, cost around 180 USD (payed with bitcoin) ~3 weeks delivery time.  They just came in last week.  As far as I can tell, the drug is soluable in alcohol.  My plan is to crush some up, mix with enough alcohol to form a paste, then apply it to the problem areas.  I'll keep track of my progress, and post the results here!

Sounds good. I wanted to use an alcohol based gel that compounding pharmacies use and they can’t sale gel to anyone not licensed. Which is stupid because it’s just gel ?!?
