My 65 yr old husband was diagnoised with AA3 in Sept. the tumor was the size of a lemon, surgeon said that he got 99.9% of the tumor, now getting ready to start chemo and radiation.  The chemo will be tomar, has anyone had this drug?  Did you get sick?  what side effects did you experience?

Yes, I took it concurrently daily dose during radiatiion and the monthly regimen for 6 months following.  The anti nausea meds are very effective, he should take it with antinausea before bed.  Most people tolerant it very well.  He may have a loss of appetite, but this chemo is much less harsh than traditional IV chemo used for other types of cancer.
