Newly Diagnosed Rectal Cancer (T3N2M0)

Hi.  I have been looking around for a support forum and like the feel of this one.  I got my diagnosis on the 5th and getting ready to start treatment.  I have 25 rounds of radiation/chemo to do, then a rest period, then surgery (rectum removal) and finally 6 months of chemo.  They said about 9 months if all goes well.  I do have emotional support from friends and family but really need the support of others who are going/been through this.  I have managed to stay positive so far (after crying the first few days) but my anxiety is building about starting treatment.  I have my radiation mapping on the 18th and then the following week I start.  Anyway, hope to connect with people here and offer my support as well.  Thanks.

Jeanne
