I just joined this page as a desperate search for someone that understands and can maybe give me some clarity I’m 36 and was diagnosed with stage 2 Vulvar Cancer two weeks before my 36th birthday on March 30th 2018 I had a modified radical valvectomy and was told my margins were clear scan was clear as well so this is good but my mom passed from the same kind of cancer Squamous cell so they want to be safe and are still going to take my lymph nodes On May 1st I go in to get that done! I know I can’t be alone I know that there has to be someone out there that is open to talking to me I have so many questions about so many things I would love to talk to someone that has been through this is there a light at the end of the tunnel or is it just a crazy circle that I’m meant to run for my Entire life Hoping I’m not al by my self

First of all I'm so sorry you are going through this at 36. I'm also sorry you lost your mom to it!! I'm seeing more younger women develop this and it says it's more common after 50. I'm 33 and think I might be having some signs of it but I had CINIII so they said I had a chance of developing vulva cancer. If you don't mind can you share your story on what signs you noticed first? If you don't want to share that is completely ok. I just wanted to see if I was having the same signs.
