Dear Loveurself, I am very sorry to hear of your husband's passing.  My wonderful 50-year-old husband was diagnosed with RCC Stage IV with mets to liver, spine, and lungs on March 1.  I know my day will come when I will be feeling your pain.  I cannot even imagine my tomorrows without him in my life.  Prayers and blessings to you.  Your sun will shine again.

Hello I am sorry for late reply . I really feel for you right now ,the journey is not something I would wish on anyone. I have lost my only true friend and my love .I have never felt so lost and sad .My granddaughter is the only reason I’m still here. Sophia is my light and is the only reason I will stay on this earth. The last 8 weeks have been soul destroying and I wish i had another 30 years with my best friend my husband Brenton he truly was the most beautiful person I have ever met and he has loved me purely for me and I for him .I hope you are surrounded by people that are true to you and your partner you need that.Even though no one or nothing can replace the hollow felling and sadness you feel when our your partner is deteriorating in front of you it’s horrific and changes everything very fast . My thoughts are with you and I can only say is hold him and tell each other everything you have wanted to before he is too sick that you can’t even hug . Take care of yourself as well. It’s easy to say but something we forget to do while our loved one Is all you live and breathe. Thinking of you

Dear Loveurself,

I just read about your horrific journey with your husband in his last days. I also went through this with my husband. We were together for 40 years. He was diagnosed with Stage 4 renal cell carcinoma on Oct 17, 2014 and he passed away on Feb 24, 2016. He tried it all; including Opdivo, but nothing worked for him. I was devastated that nothing worked, but I often wished he had not suffered through all the treatments.

I also stayed home and took care of my husband until his passing. It was horrifying to watch him waste away. He was only 61 yrs old. Hospice was only here for 3 days to help me, which frankly was minimal as he was already in a coma. I miss him desperately.

I am so sorry you are having to endure the pain and sadness of being a widow. I know first hand how rough it is.

Might I suggest an organization and a Facebook group that I found extremely helpful.  SoaringSpirits Intl is a international widow/ers organization with many resources. They have a website soaringspirits.org and a facebook page. They have been my life line. I just returned from their Camp Widow In San Diego, CA which was amazingly helpful. I also found "Widows Hope" on Facebook, they helped me get through the long nights.

Remember the love. Take care of yourself.

Yours in Hope,

Pamela

Did he try the Gerson Therapy, or a complete lifestyle reversal?

No. Unfortunately I just recently learned about the Gerson Therapy. My husband had trouble eating just about everything due to the Sutent and other immunological drugs he took.

BUT, my cousin is the one who told me about Gerson therapy. She is following it faithfully and went to San Diego to get started on it. She had lymphoma and is now cancer free.

You just made me cry. I found out I have cancer 6 weeks ago and I started Gerson the following week. The tumor in my chest was the size of a lemon is now the size of 1/2 a walnut. The acidosis left me short of breath is now gone. My lymph nodes were sore and swollen now fine and the lesion on my arm is half healed and looks so much better I might not need it removed. I have squamous cell carcinoma. Gerson along with blood root and apricot kernels. I think is the major part. No more meat, dairy, cafeine, sugar or salt has given me amazing results and I would encourage all who have cancer that God gave us the keys, we just have to use them.

That is fabulous news. I am so happy you are having great results. I wish we had found my husband's cancer earlier and not when it was already everywhere.  I wish we had known about this gerson diet too. I had been told about a non alkaline diet when he was in treatment but not this diet.

Keep us notified of your progress.
