Asymmetrical Right Side Swollen Lymph Nodes to Include Above Collar Bone

Hi all, I wasn’t feeling well a couple months ago...Feb March time frame. I felt around for swollen lymph nodes on my neck and found a bigger cervical one 1.1 cm and some small ones in my collar bone that are still there. I had a biopsy of the cervical one and it came back benign. The ones in my collar bone are less than 1 cm, but are still there, moveable and squishy. I also have one behind the right side of my ear that’s hard, but that maybe due to the location. They’re all to the right Side of my body to include my groin too. I keep reading you shouldn’t have them above the collar bone, but I’ve had them for 2 months from the time I at least noticed them. All of my blood work has come back normal as well as a CT scan of the neck and chest. I’ve also had a chest X-ray. Any insight? My blood pressure has been low, I’m always tired, but I think I’ve always been tired, and I sweat at night. Sometimes more than other nights, but not drenching like I’ve read would be signs of lymphoma. Cancer runs in my family, but has not effected my parents, just grandparents, uncles, and aunts. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Hi Shannon77,

Only doctors can find out what your problem is. It is good that you have had some examinations. You can try to find a new doctor, some kind of specialist.

Good luck!

Sten

Hi Shannon- i have almost all of the exact same symptoms as you....I was sick with influenza in february and STILL have swollen lymph nodes above my collarbone on the right side and also a couple under my chin.  they're all pretty small but I'm a bit anxious about the collarbone ones.   did you ever find out what was going on with yours?  did they go away?

Hi, sorry to hear. It’s most definitely frustrating. They have not found out what it is, and now I’m just waiting for three months to revisit. I’ve had a neck and chest ct scan, two ultrasound neck scans, and a biopsy. All reassuring with multiple blood work done up. Now I just wait.

I've had a CT scan and blood work. Ct scan was clear and blood work showed anemia and a few lowered WBCs, everything else normal.

I've been asked to wait three months for a recheck as well.  I go back in the middle of september.

i hope the best for both of us!
