Dedifferentiated liposarcoma

I have diagonosed with this disease last week.i am 54 years old.what is the next step i have to take ?please give your suggestions so that i could proceed with my life.

I have the same thing and mine is in the inguinal canal. I'm 55 and this type of cancer seems to be more prevalent in this age group. Next steps depend on where you live how far cancer has spread if any and how big the tumor is. Surgery and radiation are the main weapons they use against this type of cancer as chemo doesn't seem very effective. The only time they use chemo is if its metastasis usually.

I've just finished 5 weeks of radiation and will be having surgery in December. It's very painful in the area I have it and the side effects from the radiation are not fun. I basically have the worst sunburn pain in my genitalia right now and it itches like hell. I also have block lymph nodes causing other issues as well.
