Wow, I love your attitude. I have AdCC and also won't be getting cut up or cooked :-)  My apologies if my euphamism for chemo and radiation bothers you.  I try to make light of the fact that those alternatives won't work on my brain tumors.  YES, I use cannabanoids to relieve my symptoms successfully.  My friend had stage 4 breast cancer that metastisized to her bones.  She also used cannabanoids during her chemo and after.  It was a tough couple of years.  But she is either in remission or cancer free and living it up again: working, got divorced, moved.  She believed the prognosis of 1 year left to live and of course is delighted to be given a new lease on life, however short it may be.

Hi Mike,

I'm only able to tell you what I have experienced personally using CBD and THC to alieviate and control my physical pain, nausea, depression and anxiety while living with 2 Adnoidal Cystic Carcenoma tumors.

I prefer edibles to titrate (establish dosages) because they are easier to control.  I use Sativa strains for daytime and Indica strains for nightime.  Depending on my energy expenditures, busy days vs. recuperating slow days, I will use between 5 to 50mg per day.

Go to a large local chain pot store and ask for the Certified medical mariguana consultant.  Hopefully they will recommend brands they supply all the time.  SPOT, is an edible that is baked in Seattle but available elsewhere.  It comes in 10mg Sativa or Indica fruit chewy squares individually packaged and easy to cut in half.

Truthfully most pot stores are using young folks at the counters who know nothing about MJ treatment for cancer and will recommend whatever.  Even so called Certified MJ Consultants have no personal experience, only what they are told.

You really can't go wrong.  All MJ seems to benefit various symptoms to different degrees.  CBD only won't work at all.  There has to be at least a 1 to 10% THC for it to be effective.

The year before I used MJ I developed my second tumor.  My recent MRI showed not new growth in either tumor.  My daily battle is with my decreasing energy level, increasing worry over family and friends, and trying to figure out how and when this cancer will kill me.

Not to depress you, but really, after surgery is no longer viable without loosing half my head and the ability to hear, see or eat; c'mon?  Chemo and radiation won't work on AdCC unless you sacrifice the whole body part affected.  I refuse to part with my head!  Ha ha.  A little humor also helps.

Without MJ my head pain would be unbearable at this point.  Thankfully once that is titrated properly, I can spend the day examining my thoughts, hopes and imagining my next great adventure.

Peace and Love to you and yours,

Lynne

My husband has successfully used both cannabis oil (THC and CBD) and Helixor (Mistletoe Extract) to fight Stage IV Colon Cancer for over 3 1/2 years.

Believebig.org was very helpful in finding a doctor to prescribe mistletoe, and I do believe it can be effective in the treatment of breast cancer.
