Anyone being treated for Fallopian Tube cancer?

Hi! I recently found out my Fallopian tube cancer (diagnosed in July 2018) has recurred. First had tubes out when Cancer was discovered. 6 weeks later, a full hysterectomy followed by 6 rounds of Taxol and Carboplatin. CT scan 4 weeks later and an internal exam gave me a clean bill of health. Until, 3 weeks after that (6 weeks after last chemo treatment) I discovered a mass subcutaneous protruding out of my abdomen (near one of the incision sites from diVinci robotic surgery that was performed 6 months prior). After surgery to remove masses (there were two) and CT scan revealed 3 tumors (2 attached to vaginal cuff that was created during hysterectomy and 3rd in the abdominal wall), I have begun (one treatment already) chemo again...with Doxil (Doxorubicin Liposomal) to shrink the tumors. If this doesn’t work, where do I go from here? I want to connect with other women in a similar situation. BTW - It was originally staged at II after hysterectomy, but now it is Stage III. Prayers and blessings to you all! Sharin ??

Hi,

There is a really good forum that has a site specifically for Ovarian Cancers.  Suggest you join and post questions there.  Lots of people on that site that can help.

Hope your current treatment is effective.

Best wishes.
