Stage 4 Melanoma

My friend had Melanoma spread to 1 lympnode.  That was removed.  She tried Yervoy, she could not handle more than one treatment due to side effects.  She had to do nothing for a couple of months while she recovered.  Her next PET scan showed tumor on lungs, she did radiation.  And three months ago started Opdivo every two weeks.   She had her new PET scan and its showed grown in the one that had been radiated and a new one on the upper lobe of the lung.  Anyone experience this, or know what to do next.

That's awesome.  Its my best friend with the cancer.  The biggest thing is that these medicines including Ketruda are so hard on her.   She gets so bad off that she has to spend a few weeks in the hospital and stay off the medicines at the risk of becoming septic.   Right now she has cancer in both lungs and lots of inflammation in her lungs.   I am so happy to hear that about your husband.  They have now told her the only treatment left for her is the old fashioned chemo.
