Looking to connect with other adults who are taking care of an aging parent who is going through the cancer journey.

My mom 68, is dealing with thyroid cancer. I'm 36, a military widow and lost my husband to a brain tumor 5 years ago. All of this with my mom is bring up a lot of stuff for me. Looking to connect with others who might be dealing with something similiar.

Dear ADobler82,

First of all, just wanted you to know that someone read your post and that you're not alone.

I took care of my Mom (74) who had pancreatic cancer. She passed 5 years ago. I also took care of my father in law 86, who suffered from Prostate cancer and dementia, and passed 2 years ago.  My sister is a thyroid cancer survivor.

I'm sorry to hear about your husband and now your mom.

I'm sure it brings up a lot of issues for you. I'm here to talk if you want.

Punky
