Saint Nektarios Miracle

My friend "Anna", was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in March 2019. She is 59, was obese and used to smoke 1 PPD up to last year, so she was indeed a candidate for this disease. She is a nurse and we, her friends, are all physicians though none of us is an oncology specialist. Her biopsy showed adenocarcinoma stage 3, however it was moved to stage 4 after the PETscan showed numerous positive lymph nodes. She saw 1 oncologyst in private practice, did not like him, saw a different one. Then she was seen by the oncologyst at a university center in DC. Each of them recommended different chemotherapy regimens and different schedules. Everybody had a different opinion, however, none of them gave her more than 6 months to live. After finishing 2 rounds of chemo , she underwent proton therapy and was scheduled for a f/o PET scan which took place 3 weeks ago.

Now, Anna and all of us are Christian (practicants) and we saw first hand on several occasions the miracles performed by saint Nektarios (his Monastery is in Egina, Greece) with us,our family, our friends. We decided to pray daily to this saint by reading his prayer and also sent prayers to a monastery dedicated to the Saint in Europe. The monks at that monastery assured me they will pray for my friend. Recently , "Anna" had a dream in which saint Nekatrios was placing his hand on her upper abdomen. After waking up she felt better and a few days later she started the proton therapy. The last PET scan was completed 3 weeks ago. There was absolutely NO sign of her tumor or any positive lymph nodes. No methastasis anywhere. Her doctors told her they never saw this "unbelievable response" to "proton therapy". Now her treatment team are debating about going further with surgery. She declined for now but agreed to have constant follow up and regular biopsies. I am not going to talk more about saint Nekatrios, you can find everything you need on the Internet. I am writing this note because I promised that if "Anna" is cured, I will share this miracle so other patients will know there is always hope where there is faith.
