Thanks,

First of all, talk to an oncologist. While the likely handling of the condition is going to be observation, the oncologist is the one that can properly come to that conclusion.

Next, go address the pshycological side. Slow growing cancers are not as challenging in the physical health side, but are hard to manage in the mental side. Choose your preference to deal with this side: psychiatrist, psychologist, priest, guru.

Next, try adding alternative treatments (provided they are not incompatible with her main treatment). The first I would look into is LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone), which happens to be working for me.

Other substances to consider are ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid) and DCA (Di Chloro Acethate), but I suggest not adding all at once, since it would make you lose track of what is working or not for her.

Slow growing cancers are tricky to handle, since they have low energy needs and do not multiply at a fast pace. These factors make targeting them harder, but that is both a blessing and a curse, since it is what also allows you to have more time to research treatments, follow clinical trials and wait for either non-conventional treatments to work or for new treatments to be discovered and tested. Or simply for it to not ever become life threatening, which is a common outcome in such cancers.

Good for you and her.
