I think it would be nice if every one could let each other know what type of cancer you have and where you are getting treatment and how they are doing. It may help people see what is out there and see if they want to try some place else. There seems to be a lot of different places out there and each one has a different approach to it. Mike B.

I think that your suggestion is a very good one. My husband was diagnosed with a stage 4 Gliolblastoma Multiforme this past November. We just finished up with his alloted radiation treatments at Sloan Kettering in NY. My grandfather Just sent me a very informative and enlightening article he found in the Sun Sentinel of Southern Florida. It basically reiterates the same thing you were saying regarding Brain tumor treatment. If you would like to read it, just email me and I will try to get a copy. Lea

dx 03/05 with GBM4. I had radiation and temodar in Atlanta. I was doing great until about a week ago...now fatigued. Drs. explained implanting chemo in tumor but I think I'm not going thru it. I'm ready to get on with life and throw in the towel while I have some dignity.
