Stopping The Tumor From Forming Blood Vessels

Has anyone heard of how effective thalidimide is? It's a drug that prevents a tumor from forming new blood vessels (antiangiogenesis). Has anyone heard of someone who has used it? I've heard that shark caritlage also has antiangiogenesis properties and in fact, a drug called neovastat, which is a skark carilage extract, is being tested in Canada. My father's oncologist said he will consider using thalidimide after the next chemo cycle. My father has a glioblastoma. He's 73 and the first surgery, although successful in removing the entire tumor, left him weak. He is so weak that they said he can't survive another surgery, and the new tumor is too big for a gamma knife. He's already had his maximum amount of radiation and he's gone through several chemos like temodar, bcnu, and cpt11. We are running out of options.
