My father was diagnosed with esphogial cancer last year. We were able to treat the large tumor with radiation and chemo. Then in april, he started getting dizzy. We found out that the cancer had spread to his brain. There is not a tumor, from what we understand it is in a cellular form in his spinal fluid and in the menigial layer. He has chemo put in through a resevoir in his head. He is not responding to it as well as we like. We cant get any straight answers from doctors such as how long he has, what will happen, if there are other treatments, etc. We tried MD Anderson, but they turned him down stating that there are not any clinical trials right now for what he has. Can anyone help with this? any information would be helpful, what to expect, what we will see, etc.. Thank you so much Lori
