Bladder Removed, cancer Now in Only One Lymph Node-drs Say They Can't do Anything

My grandmother had bladder cancer and her bladder was removed in oct 2003. She now has a new spot on one lymph node-it's been there and hasn't grown at all in the past few months. She has lost alot of weight. she now only weighs about 90 pounds. she is 70 and is not bed-bound. she still keeps my kids, but continues getting weaker. She throws up alot and is starting to sleep alot. the doctors told her on friday that she is terminal and there's nothing more that can be done. i have a hard time believing this because the cancer is only in one spot and it is very tiny! The doctor recommended HOSPICE. They have came in and briefed us all. they tell us that nutrition will not help because all the nutrients in the foods she eats will only be feeding the cancer. The only thing that hospice has ensured is that "she will die peacefully at home". We live in Virginia and she's been to area hospitals and doctors as well as UVA in Charlottesville. If there is anyone out there that has been through this or can help in any way, please reply as soon as possible. We'd like to know about any supplements, cancer fighting foods, drinks, or anything else we can try.

Hi Lori and Family, Nutrition is good. Yes I have heard what you are talking about. I have also heard that certain supplements can work against cancer. You need a specific immune system medical doctor. We found new health supplements helped us. rose
