Hey,

I just found out that my follow-up pap smear to my LEEP showed dysplasia.....again.  Here's my story:   In the past year I have had an original pap smear that showed atypical squamous cell between mild and moderate in severity.  A colposcopy was normal, as was a cervical biopsy.  I then went to get a second opinion, where on a second pap smear (taken 4 months later) again showed the same abornmality.  Again, another colposcopy was normal, as was a 2nd cervical biopsy.  The LEEP was strongly suggested by my GYN MD and performed.  Now, 4 months later, my follow-up pap is again abnormal with the same cervival cellular changes as before.  My MD suggests I obtain another colposcopy (3rd one in a year) and another cervical biopsy if needed.  At what point do we do something different?  I'm 30 years old and desperately want to start trying to get pregnant.  My MD wants me to have at least one normal pap before beginning, but I can't even get to that starting point.  Please Help!  Any suggestions?!!!
