My husband is now finishing his radiation treatment to the pelvis. He has SMALL CELL BLADDER CANCER. For ceratin reasons he began taking a hormone called SANDOSTATIN. My husbands side effects to the radiation was surprising minimal. The radiologist was surprised and then while thinking about it said this was probably due to the sandostatin. I also now hear there is a study to see if Sandostatin protects against side effects of pelvic radiation. Check into it. Eva
