Father just diagnosed w/ Glioblastoma/Gliosarcoma... Had surgery 6 months ago and doctors were not sure what it was.Now had surgery a second time and this is what he has been diagnosed with. Is completely fuctionable, no memory loss , no mobility problems etc.. though has some swelling in his face and feet form the steroids he has been taking for the past few months and his sugar levels are higher due to meds. now putting him at diabetic levels... Doctor wants him to start radiation and chemo together ASAP. Without any treatment they are giving him 6 months and with all the treatment and the cyber knife they say 2 years.. I do understand that is text book as far as that info and that everyone is diff. on how they respond to treatments..Dad also is in remission for NON- hodgkins lypmhoma... now being connected to his service in the vietnam war... anybody out there going through similar circumstances or have opinions on this PROTOCELL opposed to radiation chemo etc.

My father in law died 5 years ago from non-hodgekins lymphoma that was linked to agent orange. My mother-in-law now receives VA benefits. Last June, my wife (who was born in '71) was diagnosed and operated on for a glioblastoma. I don't think that is a coincedence. In fact, there is data indicating that the dioxin (or whatever) caused genetic mutations that could by passed on. You make SURE you apply for VA benefits and take it to your congressman if you need to. This stuff pisses me off. It's bad enough that my wife is sick but now no matter what happens to her I get to look at my 4 kids and wonder if the other shoe is going to drop.
