Some thoughts I had about surgery and "wafers". You and family in my heart and prayers...let me know if there is anything i can help with. My 3rd megadose starts tomorrow (Nov 1) also. Let him know he's not alone. Maybe we could change the old saying and make it read "the family who hurls together, stays together". (Humor, no offense intended). When you discuss wafers with doc, ask how many times they must open his skull. Ask how much "good tissue" will be effected, and what will be the result of that. Also ask what are the chances of infection. Can he go about his regular routine after surgery? Also ask about the tenure of the treatment. Will it give him 3 months time, and will 2 months of that time be recuperating from surgery?

jerry was on those meds. before but not for now. he has allergies, but we do not know what they are. jerry was bald before treatment. now he is balder. hair today, gone tommorow.family joke.he is in good shape too. was always working. had parttime job at a linen company delivering/picking up. also was hobby farmer. had 5 cows and a bull on 40 acreas. loves to cut wood and drive his tractors. gave everything up since ill. depressing. so anyways, last month he bought us matching chain saws.guess i am a chain saw women now. ha!ha!trouble is, 'i don't know how to cut trees down yet. but i am a mean cutter and stacker. so good at stacking that the whole row fell on me. ouch!!! not hurt bad. it just knocked me for a loop for a moment. i got right back out there though.let us know how you do this round. good luck and good night.
