Well you cant really replace one with the other. Raw vegetable diet has very good nutritional value. Alkaline ionised chanson water.. is known to be effective at increasing body's PH level.

Also look at Spirulina and Chlorella as a supplement - it does wonders to correct the pH balance. I also use Barley Green Powder and Raw Cacao Powder to increase anti-oxidant levels

Barley and wheat grass leaf seem to be 2 very good sources of producing an alkaline environment. They both also provide a great source of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, fiber, beta carotene, and Chlorophyll

A good way to alkalinize your body is to cut out all animal products which are very acidic.   A natural vegan diet will be of huge benefit to your body achieving the alkalinity it functions best at.  Adding a few drops of lemon juice to tap water also helps to alkalinize it, as tap water can be acidic due to the chemicals in it.  

There are some really good resources on the internet about eating an alkaline diet.

The first step is to alkaline the body with 9.5  alkaline water. 

Second step is to eat raw vegetables and fish (salmon) and avoid any meats.   5 lbs of carrots, brocolli, kale, cauliflower, celery are all good for the body.

Third step is since eating all those veggies everyday is nearly impossible, get a very good supplement to provide the necessary nutrients the body needs to strengthen the immune system.  I heard Reliv products are the best out there.

Cancer cannot exist in an alkaline environment.  Lemons, limes & avacadoes are very alkaline.  A water ionizer machine will raise the Ph level in the body.  A body with 7.5 Ph cancer cannot grow!

Consuming vegetables (organic is best!) is critical for any cancer patient.  However, this isn't enough, powerful nutrition supplementation is imperative.
