My thoughts and prayers are with parents and families who have lost a child from cancer, my daughter lost her battle with a diffuse pontine glioma on April 6th 2005. If anyone needs emotional support or has any questions I will be MORE than happy to help out in any way that I can. If your child has been diagnosed, I share your sorrow and my prayers are with you.

Robyn...I grieve with you over the loss of your child. Selfish i know, but i cannot imagine the heartache of losing one of my children. i pray i do not walk that path. I'm sure everyone who reads your post shares your sorrow even if you do not hear it from them. we don't really know how to respond to such a tragedy and the dictionary doesn't contain words enough to express our heartfelt emotions. Thank you for sharing and for being such a caregiver. You have walked, i pray, where most of us will not and i thank you for being courageous enough to offer your compassion.

I can relate with you. My 13 yr old son Josh was diagnose with a brainstem glioma in Aug 2005. He underwent the radiation and chemo of Temadar. Things were going along so good till a few weeks ago, we found out that the tumor has started growing again and that there is nothing that can help. Basicially we are just waiting for him to die, how cruel is this world? It is heart wrenching to watch your child slowly dying everyday and there is nothing you can do for him.

yes it is heart breaking to watch your child die. you will never expirence such heart break in your life time. Katie was treated with temadar also, and to no avail, the tumor continued to grow. We had 11 months to spend with katie before she passed away. Such a cruel tumor. I hope that the residual effects of the radiation will promote some shrinking for your son. If not he will go on to be one of Gods angels, like so many. I will pray for your family, I am so sorry you had to be so unfortunate. I feel your pain. If you need any help or support going through this terrible time, please e-mail anytime. Robyn C.
