Hello there, Patty. I have been thinking of you since your last posting earlier this month. I understand that the results of your husband's most recent MRI left you feeling scared and very worried. What have you found out from your husbands physicians? How is your husband doing? How are you doing? I am keeping both of you in my thoughts and prayers. Take care. Rondi

Dear Rondi, Thank you for thinking of us. We have good news. Russ' MRI on Wednesday was good. The 'enhancement' they had seen the month before was due to radiation damage and not regrowth. We are so thankful. He is now back on the two month MRI regimen. How are things going for you? Let me know. Take care, Patty

Dear Patty, I was so glad to hear of Russ' most recent MRI results. God is hearing and answering your prayers (and others too.) My dad is now done with his radiation treatments and has completed his first round of Temodar 140 mg along with radiation. He has been extremely weak and tired since. Today when I saw him, he seemed to walk a bit taller and move a little easier. He is feeling a bit "hopeless" right now as his radiation dr. told him he would feel more energetic and stronger in 1-2 weeks following radiation. Well, tomorrow is the two week mark, and my dad is a bit discouraged to say the least. My mom and I are trying to encourage him to be patient as his body is healing and recovering from so much in the last three months. I am amazed that Russ was able to work during his treatments. My dad wouldn't have had the energy to do so. Do you find that this situation has urged you and Russ and your family to really appreciate the small moments of each day? How does a person stay sane when you await the MRI results? You are truly an inspiration to me, Patty. Take care. Enjoy your day. Rondi

Hi Patty, I have been scanning the pages for news from you and yours and hoping all was well, I did post a message a while ago but I have a feeling the system chewed it up along the route!! So Pleased to hear about the Mri results thats encouraging for all of us, its also my boyfriends next stage and we are waiting to hear from the hospital for his scan date!! They dont scan as often in the UK!! this will be his first since starting radiotherapy and Temodar. Today he starts his 2nd course of the higher strength Temodar and you were right, the further from radiation he gets the better he feels. At least we know what to expect this time, a week of meds followed by another week of feeling awful, then he feels brill and we can carry on as normal...!! Thank you all for your support and writing, Im thinking of you all from across the miles Astarte
