So sorry to hear you are having such an awful start for the New Year.  Don't forget that our Lord never makes mistakes.  Trust in him to get alll of your family thru this.  It is not written that believers will not have bad times , just the opposite.  Praying you have the faith and strength to continue on this journey with such an awful beast effecting so many of your loved ones.  Keep us posted.

Hi B,

Seems we have similar bad fortune...no one in my family (or my husband's family) has been sick or passed away in years.  Just before Christmas 2009, my father-in-law was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic.  After a valiant battle, he passed away Oct 2010.  In the meantime, my grandmother (100 years old) was coping with stage 4 breast cancer (the doctor won't do surgery and she is hemorhaging).  My uncle with diabetes, parkinsons, and a rare cancer called merkle cell carcinoma (failing before our eyes).  Then, just a couple of days before my daughter's 5th birthday, my dad was diagnosed with GBM (this one turned my world upside down).  In September, my mother-in-law had a series of strokes, one of which has left her in a horribly debilitated state.  And, another distant relative, 43 years old, fighting recurrent breast cancer (with poor prognosis).  Her dad ended up having open heart surgery during this time (but did quite well).  So, we have 5 cancer cases and 1 debilitated by a stroke.  Life gave me some other horrible challenges during this time, too...I'll spare you the details.  All I can say is that my family is in the same boat as yours with regard to illnesses and losses.

These days, I have a hard time talking about anything except cancer and medical stuff, cancer fighting diet, supplements, mind set, etc.  When I hear news about the end of the Mayan calendar, I can't help wonder if this truly is the end of the world...I know that sounds crazy.  It's hard to be the "me" that I was "BC" (before cancer)...I guess that person is gone.

Have you rea the book "Anti-Cancer: A New Way of Life"?  It seems that the cases of cancer truly are escalating...it is not in our minds.  If you haven't yet read it, this is the best book you could pick up now.  It has been a God-send to me...

I'll certainly add your family to my prayers...seems like my discussions with God are never-ending these days.  :)

Hugs to you and your family!

Kris

I had stage 3-4 cancer. I had chemotherapy and a recent CT scan showed no evidence of cancer. I was not a Christian when I was diagnosed - I am now. After desperately seeking God, God spoke to me and God healed me.

God wants you sister in law to be well. Jesus paid for all our healing and took all our sickness and disease away - we already have our healing and we just need to appropriate our healing with faith - there God's laws of faith - God works through people. One teacher who helped me is Andrew Wommack ministries - all his teaching is FREE - have a look at the Healing Testimonies (videos of people who were miraculously healed) - listen to these ones on healing - YOU'VE ALREADY GOT IT, GOD WANTS YOU WELL, BELIEVER'S AUTHORITY - the link is www.awmi.net

Be prepared to a very different teaching to what the church normally preaches - keep an open mind. Andrew Wommack has seen healings and miracles in his ministry. I have a awesome relationship with God and have seen prayers answered. God Bless you.
