Thank you so much for the encouragement! I know I can make it and it will be better soon! I’m looking forward to better days when my face is back to normal. I’m taking Tylenol for the headaches and will increase to help with pain. Staying away from Advil because of the corona virus! I’ll try the ice as well.

Unless you have coronavirus, have high blood pressure, you've been told not to take Advil, or allergic to Advil it should be safe for you to take it. The doctor's are saying not to take it if you already have coronavirus.

You're going to make it just fine.

My skin is peeling off. Do I still put the cream on that open skin?

It's really hard to give advice not being a medical doctor and especially not getting to see your skin. All we can do here is tell of our own experiences. A lot of us have similar some different it all depends on the degree of severity of sun damage. The first thing I thought when you said  your skin is peeling was, peeling like a sunburn peels? Then I thought when I peeled it was near the end of treatment. Scabs are beginning to look like they're healing, some of the skin was peeling around scabs, the oozing slowing down, the skin is drying, it doesn't look enraged anymore, you can see light at the end of the tunnel. I've only used Effudex and Flurourcil and I was told it only treats damaged skin, not good. If you were to see a doctor they would be able to determine whether to continue or stop. My first treatment I was at my wits end with how I looked and pain. On my way to the doctors office I'd told myself I'm done no matter what. Luckily for me he looked at me and said I was done. I think you're near the end of your treatment so if you can hang in there go to the end and continue treating everything as the doctor originally told you. Peeling is normal with this treatment. BTW, as you're healing your skin will peel more and more, don't be tempted to pick at it you don't want to scar! Good luck, you're almost to the finish line!

Thank you! Yes one more day of cream so it’s still red and inflamed. The peeling just started on my upper lip. I’m glad that I’m done with the cream as of tomorrow night! I only treated the spots some of which just now seem to be reacting other areas on my cheeks, nose and upper lip are red, inflamed and just started peeling. Thank you for your encouragement. My Dr. office closed so I feel like I’m on my own at this point so hopefully stopping tomorrow as planned is the thing to do.

Yes, do as prescribed by your doctor. Keep your face clean and stay out of the sun as it's very delicate right now. Keep your hands off it too. LOL Stay home and away from this coronavirus. It takes awhile for it to heal and longer for the redness to go away, but the worst is behind you now.

You're going to be fine.

Agree with all the above.  Remember your old skin is basically gone so your flesh is unprotected.  Be super careful of your face and aware of its vulnerability!
