Have Faith In The Lord

I am posting this here in hopes that it may encourage those of you out there that may be suffering and looking to the Lord for relief and comfort - or - looking to the Lord and asking, "Why me God?"

First, my name is Charlie McKelvey and I live in Bethlehem, PA with my wife and four children.  I have been very blessed by the Lord in that all of my children and I are healthy.

My mother has had some health issues over the years and at one point, it was pretty grim as the doctors informed her that she would not survive.

My mother simply refused to accept this diagnosis.  She went to her faith and also practiced daily meditation to think positively.  I witnessed firsthand her transformation from being deathly ill to being restored.

How does this happen?  How do we hear of these cases where individuals can literally be cured of a life-threatening disease or turn back the effects of cancer on the body?  There is only one answer to this and science cannot give it.

It is the healing power of faith.  There are numerous accounts of this healing power throughout the New Testament.  The healing of the centurion's servant and the healing of the woman that touched Jesus' tassle are two beautiful examples.  These individuals held such absolute faith in the Lord's ability to heal them that they were healed without any physical action or touch.

Focus your thoughts and heart on the Lord.  Focus with all your heart, soul, and mind on how much the Lord absolutely loves you and how you will be healed, not can, will be healed.  Do not allow any other possibility.  By your faith, you will be healed.  By your faith, your prayers will be answered.

Best Regards and God Bless,

Charlie McKelvey

Bethlehem, PA

Amen. I totally agree with the power of prayer. I got a diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer two months ago...and with 4 rounds of chemo under my belt and being lifted in prayer by many people and my own prayers will get me through this battle. Btw, my big brother lives in Nazareth........I am very familiar with the areas. Take care and God Bless... Donna
