Multiple problems requiring home care full time. My dr. does not know how to proceed. I was just reunited with my cousin not long ago and found out she is a home health care aide. I need someone who can do the Heimlic, CPR and take care of me when a seizure happens and assist me with walking and when I fall. I have no sense of smell, taste, eardrum has deteriorated and I have radionecrosis of the jaw. Does anyone know how to proceed to have my cousin as a care taker?  If a Dr. (PA) doesn't know, then things have gotten worse than I thought. lol

She would be able to stay here 24/7 Monday through Friday or Saturday. I would have no strangers coming in and out of the house. Not to mention this is not my house. So strangers is  like out of the question if at all possible.Does anyone know where to begin. I have medicare and medciaid. This is all due to radiation poisoning due to thoat cancer which will bring me to another topic  later. thank you for any7 assistance.

Don't tell medicare/medicaid that she is yout cousin.  Many oncology offices have a social worker who can advise you as to how to proceed.  If not, the hospitals in your area should have someone.  Thirdly, hospice office can help.

Wishing you all the best,
