Ask your doctor about diet and maybe new meds that could work better. Also http://orthomolecular.org/resources/omns/v08n19.shtml

I am 75 years of age, and have been type II for 20 years. I first discovered elevated blood glucose when I was on an extended out-of-country tour, so I just bought some insulin, syringes and a glucometer, and started shooting up.

I didn't have to change my life style nor eating preferences. I just went on enjoying life along with a shot of insulin every day. My 3 month blood glucose A!C always ranges from 5.8 to 6.2, the same as non diabetics. Just saw the doctor a week ago, and he confirms that I have no signs of diabetic complications.

I am pleased with my choice of treatment.
