Oh, my friend, I am truly sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is its own unique painful trip. :( So glad you got to see him! Sounds like you got some closure. My evening prayers and meditations tonight will for the repose of his soul. May he rest in peace. I don't know his name but God knows it. It's written in the palm of The Great Almighty's hand. :) You know, I watched my husband's aunt go thru everything from helpful, not helpful to downright rediculously unnecessary procedures. Some of which really could and should have been eliminated. Sometimes I think the patient gets caught up in stiff policies and protocols. At least he is at peace now and you're home. Where it's warm!
