Bartholin Gland Cancer

Hello ladies, After noticing a hard, painful lump deep in my left labia in August/15 I decided to see my family doctor early september. He seemed stumped right away, but said it might be an infected bartholin cyst even though it's not showing typical symptoms. So he put me on antibiotics (at the time I knew I should have asked for a gynaecology ref and further investigation) but I took the antiobiotics. Unfortunately they did nothing and life was "busy" and I grew accustomed to this hard painful lump growing inside of me. Roughly 2 months later I made a f/u appt. he then made a referral and I requested an ultrasound. I went for an appt with the gyne about 3 weeks later. She said the same thing, atypical, deep, hard. Not characteristic of the typical bartholin cyst/abscess. She sent me for a second opinion and it was decided I would have surgery to remove this growth. On January 14, 2016, they removed this mass ( did not remove gland) and biopsied. I am now two weeks post surgery and went for my results two days ago. Pathology report came back as adenoidcarcinoma. Now I am just waiting for a call to go see an oncologist and see if this cancer has spread and where and my treatment plan. I am 26 years old, staying positive, and ready to beat this. Would love any tips or suggestions. My prayers are with you all.
