Is he a neurosurgeon or neurologist or oncologist?  I am in NJ myself and my wife goes to U Penn for her surgeon (Dr. Steven Brem and he's amazing!).  My wife is 45 and had been in the hospital 3 times in her life before last July to have 3 kids (19, 14 and 11) and that's it.  Never taken a prescription in her life other than general antibiotics for colds.  The picture of health.  She had been taking care of her stage 4 colon cancer sister (age 48 who passed a month ago) and all of a sudden after a day of running around had a blank stare on her face and we thought she was having a stroke.  Ask her my name, our kids names and where we lived and she couldn't answer correctly.  Just talked around it.  Took her to a stroke center near us and after MRI's found a low grade glioma that they wanted first to watch (and did) and after a month it went up to a high grade and needed surgery from Dr. Brem in Sept.  had surgery and removed 2 tumors (one malignant, one benign it was attached to) and one was left becuase it was in too dangerous of a position and was too small.  Killed it for now with radiation and chemo that's continuing.  Also see Dr. Aarti Desai out of Univ of Penn and she's great too.  Can get my wife into clincial trials if needed.

Hope this helps and all the best to your daughter.
