My mom was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She has had a 20lb tumor removed and just started chemo. She is so weak and her hands are numb which I know are side effects. Dr told her to drink ensure, only problem is it contains iodine which she is allergic to. Does anyone have any suggestions of what she can take to help with weakness and fatigue?

Chemotherapy effects would differ from person to person. It would also differ from the medicines that are given and the dosage of such medicines. Certain medicines tend to suit a person where as the same might not be effective to another. Focus more on healthy diet. There may be difficulty in eating that causes to nutritional deficiencies. Include low calorie vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery and nuts like walnuts, Indian nuts[ https://www.nuez-dela-india.com/supplement/ ].This helps body to grow new healthy cells. Hope this could help you!

Take a high fiber supplement like Fibrestore to help remove toxins from the body, so it can heal.  Also eat plenty of fresh vegetables.

Echinacea Angustifolia is an herb that is quite potent and helps protect the body during chemo.  I would look for an extract to get maximum results.  You can also check out my blog at healingfield.wordpress.com to the whole host of supplements that I feel benefit the body when treating for cancer.
