vulvar cancer?

I've had 3 lumps on my vulvar for about 12 years. Maybe even longer.  I've had several GYN doctors tell me they are cysts.  Lately I've been worrying about them.  Does vulvar cancer causes one sore?  They don't bother me I have no pain or bleeding.   I'm 64 years old.

Hello, I am 58 years of age.  I have several hard white bumps on my vulvar.  These lumps have been there for a very long time.  I've never inquired about them.  Perhaps I should but figured if they were of great concern, the GYN would have said something.  I find that moisture in the genital area often causes them to become more sensitive.

I am 68 years young, I had vular cancer, and it started out pretty much as the other ladies explained in here.  I had a job, and had insurance, and went to the doctor, on a yearly basis, also went to a lady GYN, and I asked her what that was in my vigina, and she said it looked like a cyst, another time, she thought it was an ingrown hair, and I took so much antibotics for yeast infections.

Well I lost my job and my insurance, because I could not preform my duties, it hurt to walk, stand or sit, for any length of time. That is when I went to the free clinic, and they took a biopsy with out numbing the area down there, because I had no insurance.  Results came back, I had vulvar cancer, stage 4.5, the doctor, wrote out a perscription, for me to see a cancer doctor to get the cancer out of me. He only gave me 6 months at the most to live.

I did not have insurance, I did not have a job, and no cancer treatment hospital would take me, unless I had some type of insurance, I needed medicaid, and to get medicaid,( since I was not 65 years old), I needed to be on Social Security, so I filed a claim, I had worked many years, and when it came my turn, it took me about 10 minutes, for a 1 minute walk it hurt so bad, I had a tumor the size of a baseball between my legs. I told them the problem, and showed them the necessary paper, and said, please if you give me just a dollar a month, i need medicaid to get this tumor out of me, within three months I recieved the ss, then i had to apply for medicaid, that took another month.  My daughter was upset with me, because her mom was dying, she though i was not doing anything to try and stop the cancer.

So I went onling, and tried to find an herbal medicine that would help, if not slow down the cancer, that is when  I found the Essiac tea, I tried the powder kind, that was messy, Then I tried the liquid form, the bottle said it last for 15 days, and it cost $56. a bottle, the more I bought the less it cost, so I bought a 3 month supply, what could I loose?

The Essiac Tea in liquid form is nasty tasting, so I opted, to drink flavored water, I put 6 tablespoons in a bottle and would drink it all day, when I would run out of water I would fix another one, sometimes I would have 3 qt, bottles a day, maybe more.

I finally got word that they would accept me at Moffit Center in Tampa, on a Trial basis. I had my foot in the door.  When I saw the doctor, he said it was at stage 2.3, and that the other doctor must have been mistaken, he asked what medicines I was taken and what herbal medicines I was taken, I told him, also about the Essiac tea, he told me to stop taking it, so I did.  He also said that he would operate, and I said no, we would do the chemo and the radiation, and if the tumor was still there, he could operate, he said that is not the proceedure we do her, and I said, that I was not a proceedure, you have to treat people differently, we are not all the same. He agreed, and just did the chemo and radiation. In the second week, I was getting sick over the chemo, and started taking the Essiac tea again, I was not sick anymore, I was not in pain, anymore and I ate. And I did not tell the doctor that I was taking it again, after the first bout of chemo and radiation, then I had a 2 week healing time, for the radiation burns. Then back for the 2nd bout. At my first appointment back to the Hospital, I had no more Cancer. I was clear, I kept on taking the Essiac tea, for two years after.

I cannot hold down a job, as my hands shake, my hips hurt from walking too long. That is from the expermintal Chemo.

That was nine years ago, I am still free of cancer.

Hope this helped.
