Could Germ Cell Cancer on my ovary as a child be causing my miscarriages

Hi, I had Germ Cell Cancer on my right ovary when I was 8 years old which was removed and I had intensive chemo for 6 months which resulted in my losing all my hair and being very sick. My parents were told at the time that I wouldn't have any fertility problems but my husband and I have been trying for a baby for a year and had two miscarriages. I seem to be able to become pregnant but the egg doesn't seem to want to stick and grow in my uterus so I can't seem to get past 5 weeks of pregnancy. Just wondering if anyone else has been in the same situation and had success? I don't know whether it could be that all the eggs have been damaged or my uterus just isn't working properly. Will doctors help me if I've only had two miscarriages? I'm hoping it'll be third time lucky but it would nice to hear I'm not alone x
