Hello, I went in for a myomectomy. Ended up getting a hysterectomy and then was told what I thought was a benign; was a malignant tumor called Leiomysarcoma. I am 32 married and have no children. I was pregnant once and that ended in a second trimester miscarriage. After my miscarriage we discovered the "fibroid" I was referred to a fertility doctor after 18 months of not getting pregnant. He told me to loose weight. Then he told I would need a hysterectomy and I wasn't even 30. Then he told me we can take the "wait and watch" approach. Then my monthly cycles started getting crazy March 2015 I ended up needing a blood transfusion. Then this year I started passing very large clots and having cycles that lasted 10 days. This started in February. By March I needed a transfusion, because of anemia. Then Iob/gyn put me on provera lysteda. It happened again in April and I was put on ortho tri cyclen. This was to be 3 moth plan to make sure I wasn't bleeding and had enough iron and was no longer anemic. It didn't work, in May I had to get another transfusion. I was scheduled for surgery on June 2 . I didn't make it I had been on my period for anemia for 4 weeks of and on. By May 20th I was getting my first iron treatment, they checked my levels and I was taken via ambulance to the emergency room and was told would not be going home until after surgery. During that time I had 7 transfusions I had surgery the 24th. My husband and I immediately began the adoption process as soon as I got home. We got pre approved to proceed with adoption on June 6th, Then on June 8th at 4:15pm my life forever changed. My first appointment is June 13th. I am terrified numb. Any advice and prayer would be very appreciated!
