Im a highschool student and ive had lymphoma for about 2 years and my friends have been very supportive until recently an incident happened at school and i found out that my mom never actually gave the school my medical records and my friend learned this information and he doesnt believe me anymore. I never did chemo therapy or anything because me and my mither dont trust this method but i do go to the hospital for blood tests and im getting a blood transfusion soon. I was in the hospital for 3 months because of this but he doesnt believe me still. What can i do to convince him because i dont want him to think im lying to him

Sometimes people just don't want to believe it. Maybe ur mom was thinking she was protecting u by not giving the records to the school. She wanted u to fit in and not be gossips about. She thought as a mother she was doing the right thing. Kids can be cruel as u know. Confront her but in a loving way REMEMBER she is walking this walk with u. Then have her explain to ur friend why she did this. U need support from this friend too. Good luck and God Bless U.
