BB1-608 Clinical Trial?

Does anyone know about this clinical trial?  My son will begin it this week.  I've read a little...just wondering if anyone has any more info.

Also, he's had a recurrence after one year and NO and surgeon say it is speech area and they won't operate.  Should we show the MRI to another neurosurgeon?

Thanks.

Absolutely show the MRI to another surgeon. Go to Cancer Centers of America. We did that for a second opinion after our Neurosurgeon said surgery was not an option the second time. After talking with the team at Cancer Centers of America and they discussed it with our surgeon he changed his mind and did the surgery. Cancet Centers of America makes it easy for you. They take care of all the paperwork. They put you up in a nearby hotel at a very discounted rate. They comped our food and had a team of doctor's come to my wife instead of us having to move all over the place to see each of the team. She had her second surgery and it helped a lot. She is now just short of 3 years survival. April 10, 2017 will be 3 years. She can still drive and do most things. She is on Avastin and chemo (Gleostine). She is going on for her next mri tomorrow. We are hoping for good news as was the case in her last mri. we never heard the words "Marked Improvemant" before until the last mri. We are hoping for the same results this time. She gets an mri every two months. She's had small side affects from the avastin and chemo but nothing that keeps her from doing daily activities. She just gets tired more often and naps at least once a day. The naps are a lot longer now- 2 to 3 hours at a time. She also gets a long nights sleep. So with all that going on we have been blessed. Our view is that we ask everyone to pray for her. God is in control of how this is all going to turn out. Whatever is the case in the end we are getting ready. Hope all goes well for you. Keep the faith. We will be praying for you. Take care. God Bless.

John

Thank you for your advice and prayers.  I hope that your wife will continue to hear good news!  My son's NO feels that a breakthrough is near and says if he didn't truly believe this, he couldn't do his job.  (We are in NYC.)
