Worried. This may be round 2.

I had hpv related squamous cell carcinoma on my vulva over 10 years ago but in another area of the vulva. I noticed an extremely itchy spot (bump) a while back and finally went to get my annual physical. The dr prescribed me an anti-inflammatory cream to use for 2 weeks then I go back for a biopsy. This spot is larger than last time and it's a shiny white color. There are a few white bumps there as well. I'm scared to death. How long does it take to get biopsies back from pathology? Last time I had 2 surgeries. Anyone have anything similar? Thank you

Hi Née, biopsy results usually take 4 to 5 working days. I've just had some lesions removed And the results from pathology says I have more there, the Gyn couldn't get it all, looks like I Have to go to a specialist in Sydney and I'm a my wits end wondering what sort of surgery I'm going to need.Ive read laser is better than in incisions ,I have Vin 111. I wish you luck.
