... interesting about vit C, selenium and platelets! My platelets dropped at the last visit but I had taken no selenium for some time. I had taken liposomal C + liposomal curcumin with maitake mushroom powder added to the glass; vit D3/K2 liposomal drops!!?

Can I ask if you have ever had a second opinion? This sounds a very dramatic sequence of treatment to me! I was diagnosed in early 2012 and, taking nothing but supplements (admittedly at a high dosage), I am still at very low figures - not worth medication according to my consultant (and I fully agree!) Meanwhile, if you can scan back you will find some variations in the natural health approach but based firmly upon...

Sounds good, Gretchen. I think we are all glad of each other.  Roger

Hi, Carla, I have been on this essential regime since 2012 (less turmeric and mushroom, but with varying supplements according to inclination). I have such low figures that my consultant hasn't suggested medication (although the first consultant did - which I refused and which caused her to 'sack' me!). I did the right thing. This consultant is much more on the ball and is intrigued by the comments on this si...

Hello Carla, People differ in the amounts. I use the following formula: 4 1/4 tablespoons of organic sunflower lecithin https://www.amazon.co.uk/Swanson-100-Pure-Lecithin-Granules/dp/B01CZ5HRJO/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1516030726&sr=8-3&keywords=swanson+sunflower+lecithin soaked for 4 hours in 2 cups of water then blended for 50 secs. Meanwhile, I mix 3 tablespoons of sodium ascorbate (vit C) ... ...

Hi, Carla, I had a reduction of platelets from taking my home-made liposomal vit C (no selenium for a while, but turmeric included in the liposomal mixture then with maitake mushroom powder added to the glass later and multivits taken separately!) It is very simple to make, by the way. You order a jewellery cleaner (mine cost £100 in the UK) and with a blender simply add the ingredients ...

Hi, Carla, One always has to take into account the original cause may be acting on one again. You say she did work amongst electrical equipment for years. Does she still? Hi, Richard, Thanks for that info regarding the selenium. I will try this. Meanwhile, it would be good to see you. Whereabouts in the UK does your son live? My nephew is a lawyer in Milton Keynes. Another nephew is a detective inspector in the Leicester police. I tried to encourage him in music. Ah well! Roger

Hi, Carla, I don't know about liposomal pills. I used to buy lipospheric sachets from Ireland which were rather expensive, until I began making my own liposomal mixture. What 'make' are they? I read too that liposomal C is 80% absorbable as opposed to 16% of the powder alone. I doubt this is a fixed figure it probably depends on other factors too! However, your sister would seem to taking a goodly amo...

Hi, Richard, Glad to see you are still keeping in here. I have kept my selenium in filtered water but out of the fridge for quite a long time. It was suggested that the smell that put me off was probably due to bacteria in the water. Do you suppose that is so? I still have some left because I haven't got a water tester yet.  I recall you said it didn't need to be kept in a refrigerator but now I rath...
