      Hi Cheryl ..your husbands story is very similar to my husbands cancer journey..my husband was diangnosed Oct 1st 2015 Anenocarcinoma he has a 7 cm tumor at the JE junction close to the stomach after PET scan they discovered Lympe nodes in the abdomen that had cancer as well of some nodes around the chest area.           Hi....we got the results from CT scan everything is shrinking so we are pleased he has had 4 chemo treatments she said he could be on chemo 9 months. On the scan there is a suspicious spot on his bone on his pelvic bone he has no pain there but she said it could be a old injury even from a child he has grown a little since last scan so they are calling it suspicious so bone scan next week to make sure it's not cance...

            We live in Ontario Canada. Rick was diagnosed Oct 1st 2015 we as well were in complete shock after endoscopy to here Cancer never had it entered our mind. I have to say the cancer centre hospital has been wonderful and treatment started straight away the only thing is they are not the most optimistic about saying he will be cured but only God decides on when that time will be so we try to stay positive.               It must be a hard decision to have surgery when everything is clear I didn't think the chemo could kill and remove everything this is truly a miracle. We are so happy for you.                 Well is this a good news success story and thanks for sharing. My husband Rick was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the GE junction of the esopagus where it meets the stomach after ct and pet scan they have found some nodes in the abdomen to have cancer as well so surgery was not a option.                       larrys_wife15 He is in stage IV with bone mets. He has had radiation (16 treatments first) then he did about 8 months of Votrient (800 mg /day) vomiting, diarrhea lost 65 pounds. Now he is on Opdivo and doing so great.
