Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Hi Pat, I'm not sure who you are posing this question to as some of the posts on the MGUS subject are several years old. I'm not sure a lot of the people that wrote the original posts are still looking at this forum. Anyway, I'm an MM survivor and have just recently been looking at the CancerCom...

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Hi…for anyone considering the use of apricot kernels as an alternative cancer fighting support, you want to eat them raw. Do not toast or cook them. That would eliminate the reported value of what's in them to help control cancer (B17/amygdalin). They need to be eaten raw. When they are ra...

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Hi, I am a cancer survivor (Multiple Myeloma). After lots of chemo and a stem cell transplant (SCT), I have been in remission for over 5 years. While the chemo and SCT saved my life, I would prefer never to do that again. The side affects of the drugs and what I had to go through and the lon...

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Hi Barb, I joined the CancerCompass just today (2/14/18). I was diagnosed with MM in 2011 and I lived in hell through 2012. It's a long story but I'm happy to report that I'm now doing VERY well. Before I did my SCT in July of 2012, I was able to collect enough stem cells to do 6 more transplants...

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Hi Annie, I'm a Multiple Myeloma survivor. I was diagnosed in 2011 and spent the next year (2012) in hell. My journey was brutal but I survived and I am now doing VERY well. I've been in remission for over 5 years. My year in hell was a result of very bad medical treatment and my doctor’s i...

              Multiple Myeloma
Alternative Treatments, Cancer Nutrition, Cancer Prevention, Diet

I have been happily married to my high school sweetheart for 41 years. I have two awesome sons and we all love doing all kinds of activities together.
I was diagnosed with MM in 2011 at age 56. At the time, I did many of the standard treatments (chemo/SCT). However, after I achieved complete remission in Sept of 2012, I have gone the improved diet and alternative treatment routes. To this day, I continue to be in remission and I'm doing very well!
