I've been hearing about it lately, mostly in advertising for some Mexican clinics. What I love about my integrative doc is that he is a researcher and won't recommend something unless there is enough evidence to make him feel it is worth the effort and the cost. That said, there ARE some treatments he feels are very promising, like aluminum tetrathimolybdate (for many types of cancer since it targets angiogenesis).&n...

My integrative oncologist (and cancer researcher) just emailed me back on Apatone - "familiar with it, don't waste your money".

I don't believe that there is anyone at this time in the US that uses it. I may be wrong, but that is the latest I have read. I just messaged my integrative oncologist though, so if I get any interesting responses from him I'll let you know. I believe some clinics in Mexico are using it though.

I feel the missing factor here is what kind of fats were the women in the high fat diet eating since there is a big difference between fats from seed oils (canola, sunflower, safflower, etc. versus flax, olive, avodaco)and conventionally raised cows/pigs/chickens, versus those that are pastured and organic. I think that would be a much more accurate study of low-fat vs high fat if we had more date on WHAT exactly the...

I know a couple people who have had treatment in Mexican clinics. One was stage 4 sarcoma (very aggressive) and although she is not cured, she's still alive after more than 5 years, which wasn't in her prognosis. The other just went through treatment at Oasis of Hope for MM and it is too soon to know results. Dr. Ralf Kleef in Austria is well regarded at his hyperthermia/immunotherapy clinic. I spent a month there, k...

You may want to ask one good friend to start an email chain of all other friends you'd like included. He/she can be the gatekeeper and keep everyone apprised of what your and your boyfriend's needs are at any time, to give your friends updates, whether you want to be contacted directly, whether they can send cards, bring meals, etc. This will make your very concerned and caring friends included and hopefully keep you...

I don't think ONCOblot is going under. The test is being reformulated to be more accurate and Capsol-T does not cost $160 for every 10 days. I paid about $200 a month for the overnight kit and it allowed me to sleep 8 hours without waking. Taking a pill every 4 hours is not a big deal since I was already taking a lot of supplements. I had a negative ONCOblot with Stage II breast cancer after my surgery. I plan to con...

Capsol-T is available as an overnight kit - there is one you take at bedtime, then begin again 8 hours later. This proved to work perfectly for me and sometimes I went a little longer at night. But this is a great product and I've heard of many getting a negative ONCOblot after taking it for a few months. I did the same, but was fortunate to get negative ONCOblot results with a Stage II breast cancer after having a l...
