I don't know if I told anyone that I'm living my dream of being a Extreme BMX Athlete. My doctors don't like me doing freestyle. Please go to google then type Harry Taz Betts you can see more about me and watch my videos.

Thank You for your kind words. I know it took several Miracles to Save my life. It's been a long hard 10 year and being a tube feeder is hard but I thank God for being alive and I feel like he wants me to help others and to give them hope like You. I will be praying and I will have a few churches to put you on their prayer list.

I Survived Stage 4 Esophigeal Cancer, I am a 4 Time Cancer Patient/Survivor and The Doctors said there was a good chance I wouldn't Survive the Larynjectomy but I did against all odds but my Csncer was very aggressive and I've either had other types of Cancer or dealing with the complications I still live with, it's been a 10 Year Battle and I'm never going to stop Fighting. Cancer has taken my Mom she was only 32 an...

Hi my name is Harry Betts but my nickname is TAZ. I'm now a 4x Cancer Survivor/Patient and have had a 10 year battle with Stage 4 Esophigeal Cancer,Stage 3 Colon Cancer, Bazel Cell Cancer on my face by my right eye the other on my right arm. I went thru 85 Radiation Treatments, 73 Hyper Baric Treatments, 55 Surgeries/Procedures and 5 Chemotherapy Treatments. I have had my neck and throat rebuilt 5 Times they used my left thigh muscles, veins and arteries along with my left back muscle both chest muscles and right shoulder muscle all of them used for the rebuilds of my neck. 2 years ago I woke up and it hurt to hold my head up so we went and had a MRI done come to find out my neck was broke so to speak what happened is a very dangerous bone infection is what they said I had and it ate away 5 vertibre on my C-Spine so I asked my Doctor what happened if I didn't have the Surgery and he said I would die and that it was a very dangerous Surgery saying I had a good chance of becoming paralized so I was laid up for a year and just recovered from it...Since 2011 I started doing my BMX again and have now became a Extreme BMX Athlete and have a few Of My Original Tricks I created when I was 11 years old. I raced BMX for 4 years after that. Considerably I was among the best for my age group on the east coast. I want to share a story with everyone on this Cancer Website a few years back when I was at my hospital I was hating life so my wife and I were walking towards some elevators and this little boy with a trake like me with his mom and he saw me and smiled he said look mom he's like me and tears ran down my face and I thought shame on me for feeling sorry for myself this little boy was and is my Inspiration and I've already exceeded everyone's expectations and today I'm learning to do my tricks again although it's a lot harder being I'm disabled with hardly any of my major muscles. I train 3 to 4 hours a day and I'm training to Set a Guinness World Record Riding 20 Miles Backwards with No Hands on my BMX Bike. The Money that's raised will go to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital. My story has helped others and I hope I can give others hope...
