I had a enlarged, painless, lymph node on the right side of my neck in the level 2 cervical chain. TSH was normal.
Since my surgery I have been very emotional. Thank God I don't have any of the major issues/complications that can come with both surgeries. A few minor things that should resolve over the next few months. I do get the the random chocking on liquids at times and it's hard to get through that because I don't have any power to cough through it and it's gets scary sometimes. I am crying a lot I guess because I didn't realize the gravity of everything before surgery since it all happened within 1 month from diagnosis to surgery. They have me on synthroid 150 right now. Waiting on pathology to see if the iodized radiation will be needed and how much. Any words of wisdom, experience or encouragement would mean a lot. I am a 37 year old, single professional woman. No children yet and don't know how this will affect that for me.
