Hi Cathy and Elizabeith!  My husband (74) was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in Dec/17 and at Stage 4..and dying. Our dr. sent him for radiation on his back, and started the Revlimid and dexamethasone regimen right away.  He is not a candidate for stem cell given his age unfortunately.  In any event, he is now in REMISSION!!!   He has made excellent progress just on chemo and a normal diet i...

Good morning..I just happed along your post and have had a very trying couple of weeks with my husband that was diagnosed with Stage 4 Multiple Myeloma in Dec/17.  He is stable now however is very angry at the world..he despises the fact that he's tired all the time, has no strength can't do any of the things he used to.  He flies off the handle at the drop of the hat and I'm the closest one to vent on!&nbs...

Thank you for your reply, Gigi...I only saw it now!  Your response was very positive and I thank you for that. Lew is 73 and was stage 4 when diagnosed in Dec/17.  He is doing much better with the pain managed well with the long-lasting morphine but still struggles with dizziness and tiredness.  So good to hear from someone 'going down the same road as us'! Blessings to you both as well and have a ha...

My husband was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in Dec/17 and although the chemo treatments are showing very good results, he has lost 40 pounds, shuffles while he walks and is starting to shake to the point where I have to write for him.  He is angry or impatient most of the time and I'm sure that he is hating the fact that he's losing control over his life.  He is dizzy all of the time so I am now the prim...

My husband was diagnosed and treated with ocular cancer in his right eye last May/17 and then diagnosed with multiple myeloma in Dec/17 with suspicions he also has prostate cancer.  It is my understanding that these cancers are not related to each other in any way.  Has anyone else progressed from Ocular Cancer to Multiple Myeloma?  My husband is 73 years old and the brachytherapy he had for his ocular...

My husband was diagnosed with Ocular/Uveal Melanoma last May and was treated with Bracytherapy in July/17. In Dec/17 he was diagnosed with bone cancer and is being treated with chemo (lenolidamide)..I'm worried that there is a chance of metastis to other organs. Apparantly the two cancers he has are not related in any way. Any one out there experiencing the same as us?
