Hello Shellie, I'm okay...PSA is continuing to rise...a little over 4. ALP is high 155. One oncologist has recommended radium 223. Another (yesterday) told me no way...absolutely not the right time for it...would not consider ordering it for me. So I guess I'll ask a third. The one who said "no", had concerns that it would shut the door for me for any future chemo. From what I've read about it...not sure this is com...

Hello Shellie, No good news. My PSA is continuing to rise. It was 1.3 end of Feb and was 4.0 today. From this result my oncologist took me off of Zytiga and prescribed Radium 223. I'm still on Lupron. I will continue the IP6 (14 scoops daily) and will add beta glucan, reservatrol+C, and European milk thistle for another month...hoping the add'l time is what is needed for those supplements to be effective. Take Care...

Hello Shellie, In a nutshell... If a biopsy finds cancer, Gleason is a grading system that doctors use to classify it. More aggressive cancers have higher Gleason scores. The system uses the numbers 1 though 5 to grade the most common (primary) and next most common (secondary) cell types found in a tissue sample. 3+3 are low grade and so have lowest risk of harm 3+4 and 4+3 are intermediate risk with 4+3 being mo...

Hello CalBear, Can you share a bit about the beta glucan you take? Would it be Glucan Elite by Pro Formulations or do you take another product? Take Care, Monty

Hello Shellie, Yes, I have used both but am now only using the cell forte ip6. It (the six scoops) is hard to mix but I give it a good forceful stirring and drink it quickly before it has a chance to settle back to the bottom of my glass. I'll be sure to post the general results of my scans and test at the end of this month. Take Care, Monty

Hey CalBear, Thank you again for the info about IP6 and how it can be used to fight cancer.  I've been on lupron and zytiga for two years and my PSA has begun to creep up...slowly but steadily. I have scans and a blood test scheduled for the last week of April and I will be heavy dosing IP6 (12 scoops daily) until then...hoping it will help. I'll be able to get in 23 days of heavy dosing before my scans/test....
