Lisa - you hang in there!  I have just completed my 76th Keytruda (MK-3475) infusion and now the longest living Ling Cancer patient known on this Immuno threarpy. (three years now) I see a lot of new and exciting things coming.  Hopefully we live long enough to use them.  Only God and technology have the upper hand there. I just talked to the Dr Awasthi's office and they are moving forward with the d...

Hey there, and feel free to write anytime!  I know the flustration you are going through, as I am now on year 5 of this quest. You are brave to do the chemo, as I will never do that again.  There could be better ways to attack your cancer, depending on your situation.

Hello and sorry to hear of your situation.  I did the Foundation One test maybe six months into my quest.  The test is very good, very expensive (like $6000) but will show you if you have any mutations you can use in your favor.  It basically matches your geno to all known FDA approved treatments.  I had no FDA approved treatments that would work for me, so I went to Clinical Trials for PD1 and I ...

i still have that same issue as I cough up production twice a day.  It can get stuck in the airway and be hard to breath in. It was the worse when my lungs had inflamation from being sick. Took four months to get over that, whereas the airways were so constricted, if I did not cough hard enough, it would get stuck and block my airway.  So what I do is make myself sneeze when I feel this coming on, as the ou...

Chemo is palitive and not curative.  Now would be a good time to find a immunothearpy that might go after the cells modern medicine does not see.  Our machines don't even see under 1,000,000 cells.  So far it is hopeful Immunothearpy might be curative.
