Thank you for your response. My T4 is 1.4. I wish I had a better understanding after all these years of what should be with my TSH and thyroglobulin etc... I also cannot change doctors as the closest endocrinologist in my plan is over 25 miles away so I'll have to deal with her for now. I wish she'd listen to me and how I actually feel opposed to just relying on my bloodwork.

Doctor says levels are too high, but when I’m on a lower dose I’m exhausted and get pounding headaches every night in my sleep. So I had papillary ThyCa in 2007. I am 53 years old now. I started seeing a new endocrinologist a couple of years ago and I have been satisfied. Now that I am in menopause she keeps lowering my dosage, but my body is reacting to the lower dosage. OK, I am coming up on my 10 years for PapThyca in April 2017. I have been getting yearly ultrasounds with lymph node mapping tests. The other day they found two of my lymph nodes were quite enlarged. Need to get an FNA. Would you please tell me what is the update on you? What have they done? Thank you.

10 years since total thyroidectomy for papillary thyroid cancer and lympnode involvement.. Now I've been doing yearly ultrasounds with lymph node mapping and they found two lymph nodes that are rather large. Need to go for FNA. Anyone else had this happen and if so, another surgery? This time chemo? Very nervous, thought this was in my rearview mirror.

Lovingmyqm1, you are NOT overreacting and the fear and unknowing are certainly valid! Do not let anyone minimize what you are going through.  This will be a long journey but there is light at the end of the tunnel.   At 40, I was diagnosed with PTC and had TT in April 07 and it is something that I live with constantly.  After my diagnosis, my older sister was diagnosed and had TT.  My 12 yr. ...
